Poetically Personal

I have privately written poetry most of my life. There is something magical about putting feelings into words that can sincerely touch the soul. As time went on, I began to share my poetry with a few of my friends and family members.  The feedback I received from them was truly moving. All of them encouraged me to share this "gift" to the world. One of them, along with his two brothers, commissioned me to author a birthday poem for their mother. Their appreciation for the finished work, along with the tearful reaction of their mother, was all the inspiration I needed to launch this site in the hopes of bringing similar sentiments to the world.
